Since publishing the videos on the new $1000 dollar build, which I knew would win on search metrics I have created two short videos - and they're simply not being seen.
Now, I'm not naive - these are slow burners on niche subjects that I am using to hone my video skills and presentation style (if I have one yet). So this is not a surprise, but similar videos across YouTube have picked up 1,000s of views, so perhaps it's just time or good fortune.
There is a balance here between getting content on a channel so people might consider subscribing and filling it with spam that dilutes the content and prevents you developing an audience base.
In terms of actual content the launch of my emulation series is exciting - I chose the ZX Spectrum knowing it was off piste, but it's personal to me and over the coming weeks we'll concentrate on more mainstream and modern emulators.
The TP-Link video is just a bit of fun, I intend to put in a Garden Office and wanted to explore whether a HomePlug solution would provide what I needed - and it does in spades!
So, I have supporting web pages now for the recent videos and a handy PDF guide to starting off in emulation - including some hints on game hunting....
